The famous Böker from Solingen is one of the largest manufacturers in Europe of razors, sports knives and kitchen knives, among others. Böker has been producing razors of impeccable quality since 1896.

Robust and elegant safety razor made of chrome-plated metal for comfortable shaving and a close shave. Top quality DE razor made of high-quality chrome-plated metal. The fine structure in the handle ensures a safe grip while shaving. The shaving head of the razor is a closed comb. Suitable for normal to heavy beard growth.

What should you pay attention to when purchasing a safety razor?
Safety razors with closed combs are the most common razors. Suitable for the novice shaver and shaving light to normal beard growth. Also suitable for sensitive skin. Razors with an open comb provide a more direct or 'aggressive' shave. These are suitable for the experienced shaver and shaving normal to heavy (stiff beard hairs) beard growth. The razor with a butterfly closure has a light shaving head and is suitable for light beard growth. With the safety razor with an adjustable shaving head, the cutting angle of the double edge razor blade and the 'gap' (= opening of the shaving head) can be adjusted. This allows you to adjust the degree of 'aggressiveness' to your personal shaving technique while shaving. This type of razor is suitable for any type of beard growth or skin. In addition, the weight of the razor also counts: a light razor for light beard growth; a heavy razor for normal to heavy beard growth.

Usage
First lather the beard hairs thoroughly, hold the razor at an angle of approximately 30 degrees to the skin, press the blade lightly on the skin and shave with the beard hairs. At the neck area, pull the skin taut with the other hand.

Good -buying
I thought (after switching from commercial shaving systems with multiple blades) to have to return to comfort compared to quality, that is not the case, the knife feels comfortable while shaving. The technology will have to be tightened. The knife feels nice and solid, I prefer a somewhat heavier knife. Apart from the handle, the head looks somewhat "plastic/chromed-like", this does not detract from the finish and the quality overall.

Nice safety razor
Yesterday evening still ordered in today and shaved with it right away it takes a lot of getting used to if you have always shaved with a different razor, but it shaves super nice and very smooth a top product.

Solid product and pleasant to use.
The razor feels solid, is comfortable in the hand. In my opinion, the weight is certainly not annoying. Easy (de) mount and clean, also during shaving. I also use it to shave my head bald and that goes fine.
