Stirling Soap Company was founded in January 2012 by husband and wife team, Roderick and Amanda Lovan. After a holiday in Scotland, they discovered that many soaps from regular retail brands in the supermarket or drugstore are not real soaps. The soaps from the major well-known brands contain many chemicals. This is how the idea arose to make natural, traditional, skin-friendly and affordable shaving and beard products.

The soaps from Stirling Soap Co. are skin-friendly, do not dry out the skin and have a moisturizing and nourishing effect. Most soaps are 100% natural and suitable for every type of skin. Some shaving products contain a very small percentage of synthetic fragrance oils. Sustainability and the environment come first. The packaging material and jars are largely made from recyclable or degradable materials, such as biolefin. Sustainable palm oil is also used. Palm oil that does not contribute to deforestation or destruction of flora and fauna.

The Stirling Soap Co. range

Many soaps and bath products in mainstream retail are made from laboratory-created chemicals. These synthetic substances strip your skin of essential body substances and moisture. The soaps from Stirling Soap Co. care and nourish the skin. Stirling shaving soaps contain animal fats. Animal fats and oils have been used for the production of soaps for centuries.

The Stirling shaving creams have a sturdy compact composition and come in a handy large plastic jar. This makes it easy to make shaving foam in the jar with water and a shaving brush. All shaving soaps are so-called tallow soaps. Tallow soaps are soaps made from animal fats, such as beef tallow and lanolin (fat from sheep's wool). Important features of tallow soaps:

- it quickly and smoothly makes a creamy and firm shaving foam;
- very good slickness and;
- an active moisturizing and nourishing effect.

The after shave balms are lightly perfumed. The scents of course correspond to the scents of the shaving creams. The balm has a light non-greasy composition and is quickly absorbed into the skin. The added Shea butter, grapeseed oil and vitamin E nourish the skin. The Aloe Vera extracts and Allantoin ensure that the skin recovers quickly after shaving. The Meadowfoam seed oil provides fresh and healthy skin. All after shave balms do not contain parabens.

The classic after shave splashes refresh, nourish and care for the skin at the same time. All after shaves contain Witch Hazel extracts. It has a soothing and astringent effect and provides a healthy and matt appearance to the skin. Extremely suitable for oily skin. The added Aloe Vera extracts and Hydrovance restore and hydrate the skin after shaving. The after shave products are also lightly perfumed.

Fragrance description of the shaving products

Arkadia - This elegant and distinctly citrus and grassy scent has top notes of orange and grapefruit, middle notes of black pepper and geranium and base notes of patchouli, cedarwood, vetiver and vanilla.

Autumn Glory - This scent can best be described as a fresh Autumn morning in a forest.

Baker Street - A fresh and masculine blend of juniper, bergamot, jasmine and patchouli

Barbershop - Classic recognizable and masculine scent from a traditional men's barbershop

Bay Rum - A truly classic and masculine Bay Rum scent. The essential oil of the West Indian laurel or Pimenta Racemosa is mixed with orange, nutmeg, cinnamon and a hint of cloves.

Black Ice - Recognizable and pleasant scent of Anise. The added extra menthol crystals provide a super fresh shave.

Coniferous - This special and atypical scent is a blend of Scots pine, pine needle, Texas cedarwood and lichen essential oils.

Deep Blue Sea - This complex scent contains notes of wood, flowers, vanilla, mint, earth and citrus. It is a fresh, woodsy and sultry masculine scent. The scent is inspired by the perfume of Bleu de Chanel.

Dunshire - A fresh scent of citrus, aquatic notes and cedarwood. A fragrance inspired by the popular cologne Acqua di Gio.

Executive Man - Fresh, masculine and stylish.

Gin & Tonic - A fresh scent of Juniper berry, lime and lemon.

Haverford - This fragrance is named after the Lovans' favorite recreation park. The scent is inspired by the famous Tobacco and Vanilla perfume by Tom Ford.

Intrepid Man - A deep spicy and exotic scent of sandalwood, cinnamon, coriander and juniper berries. The middle notes are lavender, orange, rosemary and ginger combined with vanilla tonka beans.

Margaritas in the Arctic - You can't taste this Margarita. This super fresh scent of citrus and menthol feels like you're sitting naked on a glacier in the North Pole drinking an ice-cold Margarita.

Mountain Man - A blend of bergamot, orange, green tea, blackcurrant, galbanum, musk, sandalwood and petitgrain. This fragrance is inspired by the Creed Silver Mountain Water eau de cologne.

Ozark Mountain - A fresh scent of wood and spices.

Piacenza - Piacenza is a beautiful ancient city near Parma. It is a classic Italian scent of citrus, flowers, rosemary, amber and musk.

Sharp Dressed Man - This men's fragrance is derived from Creed's famous Green Irish Tweed scent. This perfume was created for Cary Grant and is a favorite of Robert Redford and Clint Eastwood.

Stirling Gentleman - A warm and masculine scent of tobacco, amber, vanilla and musk.

Texas on fire - A deep, warm smoky and slightly sweet scent of leather, cedarwood, vanilla and labdanum.
