What should you pay attention to when purchasing a safety razor?
Safety razors with closed combs are the most common razors. Suitable for the novice shaver and shaving light to normal beard growth. Also suitable for sensitive skin. Razors with an open comb provide a more direct or 'aggressive' shave. These are suitable for the experienced shaver and shaving normal to heavy (stiff beard hairs) beard growth. The razor with a butterfly closure has a light shaving head and is suitable for light beard growth. With the safety razor with an adjustable shaving head, the cutting angle of the double edge razor blade and the 'gap' (= opening of the shaving head) can be adjusted. Usage
First lather the beard hairs thoroughly, hold the razor at an angle of approximately 30 degrees to the skin, press the blade lightly on the skin and shave with the beard hairs. At the neck area, pull the skin taut with the other hand.

Ik dacht (na overstap van commerciële scheersystemen met meerdere mesjes) in te moeten leveren op comfort ten opzichte van kwaliteit, dat is niet het geval, het mes voelt comfortabel aan tijdens het scheren. Wel zal de techniek moeten worden aangescherpt. Het mes voelt fijn en solide, ik prefereer een wat zwaarder mes. Los van het handvat oogt de kop wat "plastic/verchroomd-achtig" dit doet verder niets af aan de afwerking en de kwaliteit overall.

Gisteren avond laat nog besteld vandaag binnen en er gelijk mee geschoren het is heel erg wennen als je altijd met een ander scheermes hebt geschoren maar deze scheert super fijn en heel glad een top product.

Het scheermes voelt degelijk aan, ligt prettig in de hand. Het gewicht is mijns inziens zeker niet hinderlijk. Eenvoudig (de)monteren en reinigen, ook tijdens het scheren. Ik gebruik 'm ook om mijn kop kaal te scheren en dat gaat prima.
