Synthetic hairs are somewhat more affordable than badger hairs. Silver tip badger hairs are more exclusive than the "regular" BestBadger hairs from the badger. It should be clear that a handle made of African Blackwood or Thuja wood is more expensive than a handle made of plastic. The Gillette Mach3 and Fusion shaving systems are patented by Gillette. Razor holders suitable for these blades are more expensive than safety razors.
