What should you pay attention to when purchasing a safety razor?
Safety razors with a closed comb are the most common razors. Suitable for beginner shavers and shaving light to normal beard growth. Also suitable for sensitive skin. Razors with an open comb shave a bit more directly or "aggressively." These are suitable for experienced shavers and shaving normal to heavy (coarse beard hair) beard growth. I thought (after switching from commercial shaving systems with multiple blades) to have to return to comfort compared to quality, that is not the case, the knife feels comfortable while shaving. The technology will have to be tightened. The knife feels nice and solid, I prefer a somewhat heavier knife. Apart from the handle, the head looks somewhat "plastic/chromed-like", this does not detract from the finish and the quality overall.
Yesterday evening still ordered in today and shaved with it right away it takes a lot of getting used to if you have always shaved with a different razor, but it shaves super nice and very smooth a top product.
The razor feels solid, is comfortable in the hand. In my opinion, the weight is certainly not annoying. Easy (de) mount and clean, also during shaving. I also use it to shave my head bald and that goes fine.
