Top and legendary open razor from Boker. This magnificent and impressive razor is named after the three Counts von Berg in the period 1068 - 1225. The Boker headquarters in Solingen is located near the Burg an der Wupper castle of the Haus Berg.
The 6/8 inch razor symbolizes the death of Adolf III Count von Berg during the Fifth Crusade in Egypt. The elegant blade has a so-called French point. One of the special features of this razor is the horn handle and the gilded (24 karat) waved spine of the blade. The knife comes in a luxury presentation display with a certificate of authenticity and individual serial number.
The razor has been razor-sharp honed by Boker and is guaranteed ready to shave.
Usage
- Moisten the face and lather well
- Hold the razor between thumb and 3 fingers - see instruction drawing
- Hold the razor at a 30-degree angle relative to the skin
- Use a slightly smaller angle on the cheek, chin, and upper lip
- Press the razor lightly on the skin
- Shave first in the direction of the beard hair
- Pull the skin taut during shaving with the other hand
- Shave with calm, even movements
Use the razor safely and carefully! Practice at first around the sideburns and cheeks. After a few days, carefully shave the chin and neck area. Regularly polish the razor with the strop.
