Since 1896, the famous Böker from Solingen has been producing open razors. In 170 traditional production steps, a new open razor is created of impeccable quality. And razor sharp.
Product information
The cow leather Span belt is the finishing touch for getting the open razor razor sharp. The tensioning belt can be used as an alternative to the shaving belt. The belt can be tightly stretched by means of the Span mechanism.
The tension strap is ideal for the maintenance of open razors on both sides. The maintenance can be carried out on the two different sides of the belt with different grinding pastes. Use any red or green ironing paste for optimum sharpening of the razor. Spread a little bit of this ironing paste on the red side of the tension strap. The leather side without pasta is intended for stroking.
Usage
- Place the tension strap flat on a table
- Possibly tighten the tension strap.
- If necessary, rub a little ironing pasta in the leather of the Span belt
- Hold razor to the shoulder (the hinge part) of the shaving leaf
- Press the razor lightly against the belt
- Get the razor back and forth over the tension strap with a quiet tensile movement
- Tilt the razor over the back of the shaving leaf in the other direction
- Clean the shaving leaf with a soft cloth.

Good product, over time you become a little more convenient and it goes a bit faster. Just a pity that I did not immediately order the pasta. Very important not to touch the leather with the cutting area, then the noose becomes useless. Again good for your Pingping loyalty points then.
