Feather is a large Japanese manufacturer of razors, scissors and surgical/medical scalpels. Feather is known for the razor -sharp feather double edge razor blades.

Product information
The AS-D2 is Feather's new generation of safety shears from stainless steel. Superior quality. Perfect and accurate finish. And a nice Satin finish editing of the metal. The handle has the correct length and a pleasant balanced grip. The razor has a closed comb and is suitable for normal to heavy beard growth.

The quality of the razor is guaranteed because every unique razor is produced by one professional in the Feather Factory from the start to the end. The parts of the razor are milled by hand, rotated and compiled by hand. The razor comes in a luxury gift box.

Where should you pay attention when purchasing a Safety Razor?
Safety Razors with closed comb are the most common ranges. Suitable for the novice shaving and shaving the light to normal beard growth. Also suitable for sensitive skin. Shair knives with an open comb shear slightly more direct or 'more aggressively'. These are suitable for the experienced shaving and shaving the normal to heavy (stiff beard hair) beard growth. The razor with a butterfly closure has a light shaving head and is suitable for light beard growth. With the Safety Razor with an adjustable shaving head, the cutting angle of the Double Edge razor blade and the 'gap' (= opening of the shaving head) can be set. This allows you to tailor the degree of 'aggressiveness' to your personal shaving technique while shaving. This type of razor is suitable for any type of beard growth or skin. In addition, the weight of the razor also counts: a light razor for light beard growth; A heavy razor for normal to heavy beard growth.

Usage
First soap the beard hairs, keep the razor at an angle of approx. 30 degrees compared to the skin, press the knife lightly on the skin and shave with the beard hairs. At the neck part, tighten the skin with the other hand.

Good balance and also suitable for sensitive skin
This De Scheer is perfectly in the hand and it gives a mild shave, so definitely recommended for someone with sensitive skin. This does not mean that he does not shave well, the opposite is true. It is a very effective shaver, highly recommended.
