Bog oak is made from wood that has lain in peat soils for more than 3,000 years. The wood is processed and water resistant.

Synthetic hair has practically the same resistance, elasticity and softness of silver pointed badger hair. This shaving brush also provides the right foam texture. Plastic bristles are also more hygienic to use.
